Arrive at the Ashram using public transports
From Lisbon’s airport, take the metro and get off at Rossio station (green line) – cost of the one way ticket: 1,75 €.
You should then take the train at Rossio Station, and continue to Portela de Sintra station.
There, take the Mafrense bus to Ericeira and exit at the first stop of the village of Santa Susana.
Next to the stop where you will exit, there is a narrow tarred cross (on the side of the road) with a sign saying “Quinta do Rajo” or “Ashram Ram Dass Guru”.
Follow the path walking for 7 minutes, guided by the signs.
Arrive at the Ashram by car
From Lisbon: take the IC19 towards Sintra.
Exit onto the A16 towards Mafra / Ericeira. Then continue towards Pêro Pinheiro / Lourel / Beaches until you reach a roundabout.
Then you should exit the last option and continue following directions to Terrugem.
You will find on your right the Galp gas station, turn right towards Ericeira, now taking the EN247. After Odrinhas and Alvarinhos finally arrive at Santa Susana. After passing the entrance plate in Santa Susana take the first right.
From there follow signs indicating “Quinta do Rajo” or “Ashram Ram Dass Guru”.
