Around the Ashram

The ashram itself features a large garden with multiple spaces to relax, meditate, and connect with nature, including hammocks, stone benches, a meditation path, fruit trees and seasonal plants.
There are also several walking routes right from the ashram
– from short valley walks to longer trails (30 minutes up to 2.5 hours)
– including a scenic route to a nearby beach (about 1–1.5 hours one way).
Only a short drive from the Ashram, São Julião Beach opens to the vastness of the Atlantic. Its golden sand and rolling waves invite quiet walks, ocean swims, and moments of deep connection with nature.
Here, the sound of the sea becomes a meditation — a reminder of rhythm, flow, and simplicity. Whether you come to watch the sunset or breathe in the fresh salt air, São Julião offers a perfect balance to the stillness of Ashram life.
