Dear members, non-members, and all other people involved with Associação Ram Dass Guru,

We invite you to become part of the spirit of Daswandh through one time or regular donations — a form of selfless service. Introduced by Guru Nanak, Daswandh traditionally meant offering one-tenth of your earnings back to the community. It is also a meaningful way to do seva when your physical presence isn’t possible, and a practice of spiritual growth: weakening the forces of the ego and our attachment to wealth.

We are not asking for 10% of your earnings. With today’s living costs and the reality of taxation, that isn’t realistic for many of us. Rather, we feel inspired by the deeper principle of giving back — strengthening the community and creating abundance for everyone who is part of it, and everyone it touches.

As the saying goes, wealth begets wealth. In these times of uncertainty and change, we’re calling on you to help create this miracle of prosperity together. Any amount is welcome — even a small, steady contribution — and we’re excited to see what becomes possible through the collective strength of our community.
