Serving the community since 2013

Contributing for mankind elevation through Kundalini Yoga and Karam Kriya Teachings

Created in March 2013, the Association Ram Dass Guru (ARDG) is a non-profit institution that has been established with the objective of promoting the teachings and practice of Kundalini Yoga (KY) in Portugal and to take it, through free classes, to disadvantaged groups who would not otherwise be able to access this practice. Also from the beginning, ARDG has offered scholarships for the training of Kundalini Yoga teachers, both nationally and internationally, including students from African countries. In 2015 ARDG took a huge step forward in taking responsibility for managing the Eco-Ashram in Quinta do Rajo. In this context, ARDG welcomes volunteers (sevadars) from different countries and demonstrates the viability of a yogic, sustainable and community lifestyle. ARDG provides hospitality to all who seek in this Ashram a space of welcome, renewal and discipline.

Karan Deva Singh
Fiscal Council President

I am born in the country-side in France 44 years ago. When I was young always loved to play with numbers and mathematics. In may 2014, the Guru took me in the train from Marseille to Lyon, and put a Kundalini Yogini and Karam Kriya on the seat in front of me. I never met her before, as the other 500 peoples in that train. She was practicing KY at a distance of 275m of my door and I haven’t ever seen this Yoga center. So I decided to listen this “Call” and discovered KY 3 days later. Wahe Guru! Such a big change in my life. I started to practice regularly and 3 months later I started the teacher training Level 1. Shiv Charan Singh and Satya Kaur are GREAT teachers and it’s a pleasure to follow their teachings and living in the community they created with this ashram. It’s a pleasure to be part of the association to serve the teachings and to serve the Guru !
